Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has said that he loved seeing Chelsea attacking midfielder, Mason Mount look angry during England’s UEFA Nations League 3-3 draw with Germany this week.
Mount came on in the 66th minute during the encounter and grabbed England’s vital equalizer in the 75th minute.
The 23-year-old didn’t start against either Italy or Germany but looked eager to make an impact when he came on against Hansi Flick’s men.
But Wright was impressed by the enthusiasm shown by Mount, claiming that the midfielder seemed vexed.
“I love the vexed Mason Mount,” Wright said (via Chelsea Chronicle).
“I like the Mount that came, the vexed Mason Mount!”
Mount has encountered a difficult start to the new season for Chelsea.
The England international has put in some questionable performances for the west London club this term.
Mount has made eight appearances for Chelsea so far this season and has just one assist to his name.
