Although it's only been available in the US and Europe for a limited time there are more than 200,000 viewers on Twitch right now and has beaten games like Dota 2, CS:GO, and PUBG by a record number of concurrent gamers on Steam.
So what is an Lost Ark anyway I spent one week exploring this latest gaming hotness, eager to determine if it's what it takes to be my latest obsession, or something that I'm happy to let others obsess about. Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMO that has the same gameplay as Diablo. It's an isometric, action RPG that has all the cultural hallmarks of an open-play MMO including wildly underdressed female models as well as an online chat brimming with spam messages from gold-miners.
